Sauna-dip sessions at Prussia Cove.

 Sauna sessions exclusively for guests staying on the Prussia Cove Estate.

We have a great little spot, in an elevated position over the breathtaking Bessy’s Cove, at the top of the slipway (to the west of the main beach via the coastal path), with easy access via the 20m long slipway into the sea. We’re offering a delightful, wood-fired, 8 seater sauna in a stunning location. Sessions are tailored to the groups requirements. As well as running the sauna, we'll have water safety on hand, during the session. We can also provide water safety for longer swims across the bay (in the warmer months), for any keen swimmers. The longer swims are subject to the conditions. Should they be inappropriate, we’ll simply issue a refund for any swim fee paid.

Booking

Simply contact us to arrange a private group booking. We’ll happily go through availability options, over the length of your stay. We can either send over a tailored invoice or set up a booking page/link, so that all your guests can sign up individually. i. are pregnant or suspect that you could be pregnant; or
ii. suffer from heart disease, circulatory problems, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes or if you are prone to fainting spells or dizziness or from any condition which may affect your reaction to heat or any condition which makes you unsure as to whether you should use the sauna.

Before entering the sauna :
i. allow your body to return to normal temperature if you have been exercising;
ii. change into suitable swim wear;
iii. remove any metal items (for example watches or jewellery); and
iv. remove any contact lenses and/or eyewear.

*Having listened to expert advice, any sea dips during the sauna activity are limited to 7 minutes (in the spring, autumn and winter). We may consider longer periods for seasoned and experienced cold water swimmers but you must talk to the team, prior to the swimming activity. We'll specify a designated swimming area on the day. If you willingly swim outside of this area, you do so at your own risk.
