Terms and Conditions :

Can be found at the bottom of the page.

Holiday requirements :

THIS WILL DEPEND ON THE HOLIDAY/EVENT. For ‘slow swimming’ holidays, you need to be able to comfortably complete a minimum 2 x 300m swim, at your own pace in one day. Our standard swim holidays (or non-slow swimming holidays) it’s importance for your safety and enjoyment that you’re physically able to complete approx 2-2.5km over 2 swims per day (no requirement to participate in all the swims…of course). We typically insist on the participants being able to :

  • Comfortably complete a 1000-1500m Front Crawl swim. Slow Swimming events & holidays cover smaller distances and there’s no requirement to swim front crawl.

  • Have no medical conditions that would prevent you from completing the above / get in touch if unsure.

  • complete a minimum of 1km per day for 3 consecutive days

If you’re unsure of your suitability we must insist on you giving us a call BEFORE BOOKING – 07773085427

Am I going to drown in 5 foot surf?

The simple answer is NO. Our swims are dictated by the swell and wind direction. For both your safety and enjoyment. If you take a look at the ‘Gallery’ section of the website (or CLICK HERE), there are a number of examples of the type of conditions you can expect on one of our holidays. We typically swim in flat, clear water.

Which holiday am I best suited to?

We’ll refer you to a blog post we’ve written that covers this info in detail - CLICK HERE

 What could the package include?

Book as a group and tailor the holiday’s length and activities to suit your needs. You can pick the ‘host’ town for the trip, the length of the holiday, additional activities (such as surfing, coasteering, SUPing, Hawaiian Outrigger paddles, walking…). We can be very flexible with group bookings.

What do I need to bring?

We strongly advise you to bring a wetsuit, preferably one that you have previously swum in and are confident and comfortable when wearing. You’re more than welcome to swim ‘skins’ but we prefer that you have the choice. Otherwise, good fitting goggles with decent visibility, a silicone swimming cap, towels and post-session warm clothing will be required. In addition, a pair of trainers that you don’t mind getting wet, along with any medication you need, sunblock and a bag for your kit should just about cover it.

Where will we swim / itinerary?

This all depends on the conditions on day and is where our key local knowledge comes into play. Both in advance and on the day, we will consider and analyse the wind, swell, weather and tidal forecasts and conditions to devise an appropriate itinerary and plan a swim that is as sheltered and safe as possible. We avoid longer car journeys, where possible.

 What do we offer?

  • We run set date swimming holidays through the website

  • Privately booked swimming holidays

  • Events through the year

  • Wild swimming days out

Where to stay.

Obviously this depends on which activity you book. Here are some recommended suggestions :

How do I get to Cornwall?

We avoid the summer peak months so the roads are never too bad when it comes to driving.

Contact us with your location and we’ll do our very best to send you your quickest and best travel options.

The bus and train go to a number of major Cornish towns. You can check Trainline HERE for various routes and timetables. The Megabus offer incredible value and stops in Newquay and Penzance. It also offers an overnight service.

Websites like ‘BlaBla Car’ potentially offer quick and easy transport across country. Alternatively, you could look at the ‘Pasty Connection’ on Facebook.

Newquay Airport : flights available all over the UK and some major European cities. The below map may be out of date.

You can also look into the ‘Sleeper’ train, from Paddington to Penzance…turning up nice and fresh.

If you get public transport to west Cornwall you could hire a car from the local Enterprise or Europcar.
