Having spent the evening down at Porthminster Beach this year and checked out the St Ives Food Festival the choice was an obvious one…plan a swimming holiday weekend around the dates of their 2020 festival. We sampled some incredible food (from a few stands) and then visited the marquee bar (a few of them!) and watched great live music acts, whilst drinking a few local ales…award winning local Gin…a few other tipples. A fantastic evening on the beach, with great music, company, food and drink.
We’re asking guests to book accommodation in nearby Penzance (as theres’ more availability and getting in and out of St Ives on a daily basis would be a logistical nightmare!). We’ll look to put on swims in St Ives and the surrounding areas…and there are no end of options. Carbis Bay, swimming around St Ives Island, Porthminster, St Michael’s Mount…it’s an impressive and extensive list. We’ll also drop you into the festival for lunch on the Friday and again for dinner and a few drinks on the Saturday night.
